какое имя на американском английском можно придумать человеку, чтобы его перевели как Очкодав? Транслитерация не катит, потому что оно должно вызывать соответствующие ассоциации у населения США. Или дайте перевод к "очковать", чтобы было от чего отталкиваться

Не это http://goo.gl/R6gv навеяло случайно?..) Ибо по запросу - очкодав - гугл в основном ссылается на это видео..)

ИМХО, слова из серии sissy/pussy или вдруг коллеги придумают еще более сильные синонимы для понятия "трус", как раз отображает эту идею. Наверно, можно и в качестве имени их использовать.

PS Самое простое на "очковать" - chicken out

Контекст помог мало, ибо этимология его имени остается в тайне. Он - Очкодав - почему?.. Идея в том, что он "трус"? Или идея тут в другом? Судя из этого предложения..можно подумать..что наоборот он всех в страхе держит..да?
