Russian term or phrase: пенделя
Hello, I wonder if someone could help me with this phrase. It is taken from a dialogue in a comedy. The tone is ironic and the person to whom it is being said has broken their leg and is in a cast. He is being asked what has happened to him and one person asks: 'Вы неудачно дали кому-то пенделя'? I wondered if it meant something like 'another unsuccessful flirting attempt?' or 'were you trying to ask someone out again?' But I'm really not sure.
Grateful if anyone could help me with this!
