Muros-recipe (sherry-dipped, caramel & toffee-streaked) chiffon cake Explanation: I like Cecilia's sabayon idea, so won't copy it. Funnily enough, there once used to be a Cocina gallega at El Terreno in Palma de Majorca offering this 'biscuit' or 'cookie'. Howls of protest, but rustle up something better! Galician flan cake Explanation: At this point, IMO, an appetizing description trumps culinary education. "Cream-filled Galician flan cake drizzled with Jerez sherry, caramel and toffee." y punto. Flan is an egg pudding cake, the specialty is Galician, filled with cream and covered with sherry, caramel and toffee. Without giving a lesson on what "falso bizcocho", you can accent the local recipe and the rich ingredients and flavours. https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/creamy-caramel-flan/ |
