Spanish term or phrase: guirnalda
¡Hola!

I am translating a report on a faulty condition in wind turbines equipment. I do not know how to translate "gurinalda", which refers to the connection among the wind turbines in a wind farm. Here you have to instances of the term:

1) Como el torque de ajuste del tornillo roscado con el terminal y el bushing no era el adecuado, se produjo una zona de elevada resistencia de contacto entre el bushing y el terminal del cable de la fase L2 que se conectaba con la guirnalda de los aerogeneradores 4 a 7

2) El total de los generadores, estan distribuidos en tres circuitos (o guirnaldas), segan el esquema de Ia Fig.

Can you help me, please?

Notes to answerer
Asker: The client (an engineer) has confirmed this translation. Cranesfreak suggestion, Daisy chain, also seemed very accurate, though.

Explanation:
De acuerdo al punto 2) del contexto suministrado, una guirnalda es igual a un circuito o circuit en inglés. Espero te ayude.

daisy chain

Explanation:
One option for that context.

Daisy chain

ring circuit

Explanation:
An electric circuit serving a number of power points, with one circuit breaker in the supply. I assume the Spanish name comes for its similarity in layout/appearance to a garland of flowers.

NB: My Beigbder Atienza Technical Dictionary suggests "chaplet", but it's notoriously unrealiable.
