Thank you Toni and Adrian! 00:16 Feb 27, 2021
I knew that comunidad could not have been referring to comunidad de bienes. Comunidad de intereses makes sense. I am seeing some law articles on community of interest, such the "Community of Interest": Clarity or Confusion? by Joseph J. Fittante Jr. published by the ABA., which notes historic lawsuits in several states in the US addressing the definition. From the looks of it, it is rather confusing with different states' stances and statutes treating that term differently. I am not sure of a better solution than keeping community of interest in my translation. I thought of rendering all 3 of the elements as "economic dependence, community-of-interest or conflict-of-interest situations" but Adrian does point out West's entry of dependencia synonoymous to personal. So I think I am going with "Has never been employed by or had any community-of-interest or conflict-of-interest situations with any of the parties (...)." |
