Puede que mi siguiente consulta suene un poco trivial; sin embargo, me gustaría encontrar el término más adecuado al contexto.

La rendición de cuenta debe llevar el aprobado del responsable, con todas las aclaraciones que sean necesarias.

El departamento contable tiene la responsabilidad de revisar la rendición, y debe de aceptarla o rechazarla. En caso que sea rechazada debe emitirse una comunicación en la cual se efectúen las explicaciones necesarias y el responsable tendrá un plazo de dos días para hacer las aclaraciones pertinentes.

Una opción podría ser "issue an statement"; sin embargo, considero que sería demasiado formal.
