application to rectify a registered entry

Explanation:
Perhaps we ought to expand and elaborate on what, speculatively, is being changed and without being pinned down to a Voters' List or Electoral or Tax Register.

Example sentence(s):
  • USA: Application for Registration Maintenance /Renewal/ Correction Forms

neutral  AllegroTrans: I cannot deduce "registered entry" since the most we know is that this is from family court proceedings; why add what is not there? Also "rectify" implies a previous error, whereas this quite possibly refers to a change of address, hence an amendment

move: To make an application to a court for a rule or order, or to take action in any matter. The term comprehends all things necessary to be done by a litigant to obtain an order of the court directing the relief sought. To propose a resolution, or recommend action in a deliberative body.
