More from John Beattie, author of Medical Abbreviations Spanish-English / Abreviaturas Médicas Español-Inglés:

As members of ProZ.com have suggested this is a typo. It should read FE Biplano.
FE Biplano = “Fracción de eyección por método de Simpson biplano”.
The equivalent English abbreviations are EF (BP) or EF (biplane). These abbreviations mean: “Ejection fraction by

Simpson’s biplane method”.

Questions VfdVI MOD BP and VVsVI MOD BP:

Question VfdVI MOD BP:

I can confirm that the Spanish abbreviation VfdVI = “Volumen de fin de diástole del ventrículo izquierdo”
and that the
equivalent English abbreviation is LVEDV (Left ventricular end-diastolic volume).

The part MOD BP on both the above questions relates to the method used to calculate the volume measurements.

MOD BP = “Método de discos biplano”. The equivalent English abbreviation is also MOD BP “Biplane method of discs” / “Method of discs, Biplane”.

The full English translation you require for VfdVI MOD BP is LVEDV MOD BP.

agree  María Patricia Arce: Yes, but it should be part of an echocardiogram, not an ECG!
