Spanish term or phrase: terminal de tipo anilla
I'm having trouble with this sentence in bold, I think due to the way it's written and my lack of knowledge about electricity. It seems to me to be saying "If using terminals, these should be for a ring-type terminal" and that doesn't make any sense to me. Are there two types of terminals, and if so, how should I translate each so this makes sense in English? There's nothing else the "estas" could be referring to in the context above, I checked the whole page for something feminine it might be referring to, but nada.

Se diseñará el adaptador con una rosca ¾ NPT para poder roscar el conduit que protege el cable hasta la caja de conexiones. En caso de utilizar terminales/bornas, estas deberán ser para terminal de tipo anilla. Los conductores del latiguillo deberán ser cables de 14 AWG (2,5mm2).

Can anyone enlighten me? A mistake in the source is possible, as I've found several, so I'm not ruling that out, if anyone has any ideas.

Thanks in advance.

Nuclear engineering is definitely not my field. But I've found a link... (see below). It's a pdf file. Check page 3.

Thanks Guillermo, it being a ring-type terminal was clear to me, but in the end I determined that there was an extra word, "para", in the source, which was what was making that sentence confusing. If you put "para", it's like saying, "If apples are to be bought, these must be for red ones". Sorry if I didn't explain myself very well on what the issue actually was, but thanks for your help!
