Spanish term or phrase: condiciones de la química del primario
On a specification for a nuclear power plant part. I'm having trouble making sense of the part "en condiciones de la química del primario". ¿El primario qué? Does anyone have any idea what this might be referring to? Perhaps it's missing the noun that goes with "primario"? Or is this just a technical term I'm not familiar with?

The valves handle both subcooled liquid and saturated vapour, and boric acid and lithium are both present in the liquid.

My guess is that it refers to the principal liquid, the primary one. Above are two liquids mentioned and the Material should resist the chemical composition of the principal one.
