Fees due for the first ten years Explanation: The source term and the term in your explanation are not necessarily the same. Although both "tasa" and "honorarios" can be translated into English as "fees" they have different usage in the world of IP (at least in my part of Spain). "tasa" is normally the money you pay to the relevant Patent Office to renew a trademark or patent at the end of a registration period. "honorarios" are the money you pay to an IP Agent for undertaking the renewal or application process on your behalf. They could be referred to as Office Fees and Professional Fees. |
