publicity photo Explanation: "reclame 1. f. Bol. y Ec. Publicidad de carácter general. En Arg. y Ur., u. c. m." http://dle.rae.es/?id=VS49FpI|VS6uYtt "reclame. I. 1. m. Bo, Ur; Ar, obsol. Propaganda comercial." http://lema.rae.es/damer/?key=reclame So it's obsolete, according to the Diccionario de americanismos, but it was apparently still current in the 1930s. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2019-01-20 16:46:52 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- That is to say, "advertising" was what I meant by "publicity". |
