Spanish term or phrase: Remate
Hi everyone

I wonder if anyone can help me. I am translating a collective bargaining agreement for stevedores and I keep coming across the term "remate". Let me give you some examples of the context:

I have searched high and low but can't find anything to help me interpret the word in this context. Normally I would think of it as being finishing off but that doesn't seem right in this context. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Accumulation

Explanation:
Hi Penny!

In the context you have provided, I would offer alternatives such as "transacting", "carried out", "added", "accumulated/accumulation"or "negotiated" - again, depending on the context and individual sentence.

Example sentence(s):
  • 2 hours of Holiday accumulation. / The value of the accumulated production bonus will be paid increasingly with the amount of the auction hour.

Bonus

Explanation:
A total guess, as that seems to be what they are talking about here. However, it would be an odd way to express it in my opinion, but there you go.

Asker: Thanks for your help, I agree, I think it might be something like "finishing time" or "completion time"
