agree  philgoddard: I don't think you've fully explained this, but "cusuco" is mentioned in the "nombres comunes" section of your Wikipedia reference. And I wonder if "cuzuxo" is just a spelling mistake, because it doesn't get any Google hits as far as I can see.

agree  Charles Davis: It's commonly spelled cuzuco in Honduras and Nicaragua (acc. to Diccionario de americanismos), and from there to cuzuxo is a shortish step.
