Pour la première fois, la région Asie-Pacifique a éclipsé l’Amérique du Nord, affichant près d’un cinquième de l’activité en valeur, soit 22,8 milliards de dollars. Un dynamisme avant tout dû à la Chine, où la valeur des opérations impliquant une cible chinoise a plus que doublé, passant de 7,7 milliards à 16 milliards de dollars. Les Philippines et l’Inde étaient respectivement à l’origine de 15 % et 7,5 % des fusions-acquisitions du continent asiatique en valeur. L’Australie s’est trouvée dans une situation tout autre, souffrant d’une réduction de 71 % de son activité. Un dévissage attribuable aux doutes sur la mise en place d’un nouveau texte ayant pour ambition de créer un marché des émissions de CO2 et à la privatisation hésitante de la génération électrique en Nouvelle Galles du Sud.
L’Amérique du Sud a fait un bond, s’accaparant 9 % du total en valeur contre 2 % en 2008, avant tout en raison du Brésil, où Cemig a repris le contrôle à l’italien Terna de sa filiale locale. A contrario, la Russie a vu sa part divisée par cinq, à seulement 2 % du M&A mondial. La restructuration de son marché électrique a généré beaucoup de cessions de très faibles montants. Cet état des lieux atonique ne saurait masquer la direction positive à moyen terme du secteur, d’autant que 2010 apparaît comme une belle année, malgré un manque de recul inévitable à ce stade. Dans un contexte M&A haussier (21 % d’augmentation en valeur par rapport aux neuf premiers mois de 2009), le secteur de l’énergie et de la génération a été le plus actif pendant les trois premiers trimestres de 2010, avec 20,5 % des transactions annoncées en valeur. Un phénomène particulièrement marqué aux États-Unis, ainsi qu’en Asie, où il représente 21,3 % du total en valeur et six des dix plus grosses opérations.

The Asia-Pacific region has, for the first time, overshadowed North America, notching up nearly a fifth of the total activity in terms of value, i.e. 22.8 billion dollars. South America’s role has risen sharply to 9% of the total in value against 2% in 2008, chiefly owing to Brazil, where Cemig regained control of its local subsidiary from the Italian company Terna. On the other hand, Russia saw its share wither to a fifth of what it once was, standing at only 2% of M & A worldwide. The restructuring of its electricity market generated a great deal of divestitures but of very small amounts. In a bullish M & A context (21% increase in value compared to the first nine months of 2009), the energy and power generation sector was the most active during the first three quarters of 2010, with 20.5 % of announced transactions in value terms. This is particularly distinct phenomenon in the United States as well as in Asia, where it represented 21.3% of total in terms of deal value and six of the ten largest operations..
Italian to English: Exhibition on RAPHAEL AND URBINO for the Ministry of Cultural Heritage General field: Art/Literary
Source text - Italian Urbino e i suoi capolavori
Urbino non fu solo la città natale di Raffaello, ma determinò in modo significativo la sua formazione, restando per tutta la sua vita un punto di riferimento essenziale. Partendo da questo presupposto, la grande mostra che si apre nel Palazzo Ducale di Urbino nella prossima primavera intende recuperare e valorizzare proprio questa stretta connessione tra Raffaello e la sua città natale. Esaminando il contesto urbinate, dalla fine degli anni Settanta a tutti gli anni Ottanta del Quattrocento, viene ricostruito l’ambito artistico-culturale in cui si formerà il giovane Raffaello e nel quale opera il padre, Giovanni Santi, pittore dei duchi e letterato, che è a capo di una ricca e fiorente bottega, oltre che autore della famosa Cronaca nella quale esprime importanti giudizi sui pittori a lui contemporanei.
La mostra, allestita nel Salone del Trono e nelle sale dell’appartamento della Duchessa del Palazzo Ducale, sede della Galleria Nazionale delle Marche, si pone l’obiettivo di ricondurre la prima formazione di Raffaello alla grande cultura espressa dalla corte urbinate e soprattutto all’influenza del padre, Giovanni Santi e presenta i capolavori giovanili di Raffaello, 20 dipinti e 19 disegni originali, messi in rapporto alla pittura del padre e di altri pittori vicini alla fase giovanile della sua formazione ad Urbino, 32 dipinti e 10 disegni.
Una sezione della mostra è inoltre dedicata al rapporto dell’opera di Raffaello con la più importante produzione del ducato di Urbino, la maiolica, basata sulle immagini raffaellesche, di cui sono esposti esemplari antichi. Sarà visibile, per la prima volta, un pezzo mai esposto, derivato direttamente da un disegno originale e non da un’incisione di Raffaello, assieme a numerosi esempi fra i più preziosi di questa produzione.
Raffaello nacque nel 1483 e fu di certo, come ricordano le fonti, un fanciullo prodigio.
Ciononostante la storiografia ha troppo spesso trascurato la conoscenza dei suoi anni giovanili, la cui ricostruzione ci appare oggi come fondamentale. A cominciare dalla mostra di Londra del 2004, la critica sta portando la sua attenzione proprio sugli anni giovanili, prendendo in esame l’assunto di questa rassegna, cioè la prevalenza, nella formazione di Raffaello, del rapporto con il padre, con la sua bottega e soprattutto con la grande cultura che ha come epicentro il Palazzo Ducale con le sue collezioni d’arte. Raffaello, che è citato nel 1511 a Roma come allievo del padre Giovanni Santi, non si distaccò mai dalla sua città natale che rimase, anche nel periodo maturo della sua carriera, il centro dei suoi interessi, anche economici. Baldassar Castiglione, legato strettamente ai Montefeltro, e Bramante, protettore di Raffaello a Roma, sono state figure di riferimento per tutta la sua vita.
La mostra esamina quindi le vicende della bottega di Giovanni Santi dopo la sua morte avvenuta nel 1494. Il giovane Raffaello nel 1500 eredita la bottega paterna fino a firmarsi “Magister”, con Evangelista da Piandimeleto, per la commissione della pala di S. Agostino a Città di Castello.
Le ricerche archivistiche in corso hanno peraltro portato alla luce un numero incredibile di nuovi documenti, non pubblicati da Pungileoni, che mostrano il tessuto artistico in cui si forma il giovane Raffaello e gli stretti legami, mai recisi, con la sua città natale, sia artistici che economici. La presenza di Bramante a Urbino, che sarà poi il più valido supporto alla sua carriera romana, la possibile influenza di altre personalità presenti nella città ducale come Girolamo Genga e Timoteo Viti, rendono molto interessante esplorare questo terreno. Senza trascurare il rapporto con Perugino che la tradizione storiografica, da Vasari in poi, ha messo al centro della sua formazione e che sarà naturalmente indagato nel percorso espositivo.
La mostra è curata da Lorenza Mochi Onori, Soprintendente per i Beni storici artistici e etnoantropologici delle Marche e si avvale di un prestigioso comitato scientifico, che vede la partecipazione dei maggiori specialisti nella materia, impegnati in alcune delle più importanti collezioni museali del mondo: Linda Wolk Simon, del Metropolitan di New York, che ha curato recentemente una mostra sul tema, Carol Piazzotta e Tom Henry della National Gallery di Londra, curatori della mostra su Raffaello tenutasi a Londra nel 2004, Silvia Ferino Pagden, del Kunsthistorisches Museum di Vienna, specialista della grafica raffaellesca, Cristina Acidini, Antonio Natali e Marzia Faietti, rispettivamente Soprintendente del Polo museale fiorentino, Direttore degli Uffizi e Direttore del Gabinetto disegni e stampe degli Uffizi, Giovanna Perini, ordinario di Storia dell’arte dell’Università degli studi di Urbino “Carlo Bo”, Antonio Paolucci, e Arnold Nesselrath rispettivamente Direttore e curatore del Dipartimento di pittura dei Musei vaticani, oltre ai direttori storici dell’arte della Soprintendenza di Urbino.
La mostra è promossa dal Ministero per i beni e le attività culturali, Direzione regionale per i beni culturali e paesaggistici delle Marche, Soprintendenza per i beni storici artistici e etnoantropologici delle Marche, dalla Regione Marche, dalla Provincia di Pesaro-Urbino, dal Comune di Urbino e dalla Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Pesaro. L’organizzazione è affidata a Gebart in collaborazione con Civita. Il catalogo è edito da Electa.
Translation - English Urbino and Its Masterpieces
Urbino was more than Raphael’s city of birth; it profoundly shaped his artistic development and remained an essential reference point for him throughout his life. Taking this as its starting point, this outstanding exhibition, which is opening next spring in the Ducal Palace of Urbino, aims to draw out and better appreciate this close bond between Raphael and his hometown. By exploring the world of Urbino from the late 1470’s to the whole of the 1480’s, the exhibition recreates the artistic and cultural settings in which the young Raphael developed and his father Giovanni Santi worked. He was court painter to the Duke of Urbino and a man of letters, and ran a large and very successful workshop. Giovanni Santi was also the author of the famous Cronaca which expressed important views on contemporary painters.
The exhibition, which has been set up in the Salone del Trono (Throne Room) and the rooms of the apartment of the Duchess of the Ducal Palace, headquarters of the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche (National Gallery of Le Marche), aims to show how Raphael’s early development was grounded in the highly cultured courtly circles of Urbino in which he was brought up and especially the influence that his father, Giovanni Santi, had on him. The exhibition displays masterpieces of the young Raphael, 20 paintings and 19 original drawings, which are juxtaposed with the works of his father as well as those from other contemporary painters of his early years of artistic development in Urbino, 32 paintings and 10 drawings.
One section of the exhibition also explores the relationship between Raphael’s work and maiolica pottery, the most important production of the Duchy of Urbino, based on “Raphaelesque images, of which ancient examples are displayed. A never-before-seen piece, which was directly derived from an original drawing and not from an engraving of one of Raphael’s drawings, shall be exhibited for the first time together with many of the most precious examples of Urbino maiolica.
Raphael was born in 1483 and was undoubtedly, by all accounts, a child prodigy. Nonetheless, scholarship on the information relating to his early years, whose reconstruction, today appears crucial, has too often been neglected. Beginning with the London exhibition of 2004, art scholarship has become increasingly focused on these early years as well as on what is the premise of this exhibition, i.e., the paramount importance of Raphael's father in his artistic training, his father’s workshop, and more crucially, the highly cultured courtly circles which had at their epicenter, the Ducal Palace with its outstanding art collection. Raphael, who was cited in Rome in 1511 as a pupil of his father Giovanni Santi, never severed his ties to his home town. Even in his mature phase, when Raphael became a full-fledged master, Urbino never ceased to be the focal point of his interests, including his economic interests. Baldassare Castiglione, closely tied to the Montefeltro family of Urbino, and Bramante, Raphael's protector in Rome, remained reference points for him throughout his life.
The exhibit, therefore, examines the events in Giovanni Santi's workshop following his death in 1494. The young Raphael inherited his father's workshop in 1500, and signed himself as “Magister” (Master) together with Evangelista da Piandimeleto, in the commission of the altarpiece for the convent of Saint Augustine in Città di Castello.
Current archival research has furthermore uncovered an astonishing number of new documents, not previously made public by Pungileoni, which show the artistic cloth from which the young Raphael was cut, as well as that the strong ties – both economic and artistic – to his city, which were never broken. The presence of Bramante, in Urbino, who would prove to be Raphael’s staunchest supporter in Rome, as well as the possible influence of other outstanding artists living and working in the ducal city, such as Girolamo Genga and Timoteo Viti, make the exploration of this area quite intriguing; without neglecting the relationship with Perugino, who has been placed by traditional histography, from Vasari onwards, at the core of his artistic training, and which is naturally explored in the exhibition’s itinerary.
The exhibit is curated by Lorenza Mochi Onori Superintendent for Historical-Artistic and Ethno-Anthropological Heritage of Le Marche, and draws on the talents of a prestigious scientific committee which includes the leading scholars in the field, engaged in some of the most important museum collections in the world: Linda Wolk Simon, of the Metropolitan Museum of New York, who recently curated an exhibition on the theme, Carol Piazzotta and Tom Henry of the National Gallery of London, curators of the exhibition held in London in 2004, Silvia Ferino Pagden, of Kunsthistorisches Museum of Vienna, specialist in Raphaelesque drawings, Cristina Acidini, Antonio Natali and Marzia Faietti, respectively Superintendent of the Polo Museale Fiorentino or Florence Museums’ group, Director of the Uffizi and Director of the Drawings and Prints Cabinet of the Uffizi, Giovanna Perini, professor of Art History of the “Carlo Bo”, University of Urbino Antonio Paolucci, and Arnold Nesselrath respectively Director and curator of the Painting Department of the Vatican Museums, in addition to the chief art historians of the Superintendence of Urbino.

1 Premessa
Il presente documento descrive sinteticamente le caratteristiche del gruppo merceologico “Valvole di regolazione e pneumatiche on-off per Impianti Termoelettrici” e definisce i requisiti tecnico-qualitativi di base che le imprese potenziali fornitrici devono possedere per essere inserite nell’Albo imprese qualificate Enel.
La qualificazione concessa sarà riferita ai singoli stabilimenti produttivi oggetto di valutazione e non potrà intendersi estesa ad altri stabilimenti della società o del gruppo industriale a cui l’impresa appartiene, diversi da quelli valutati.
La qualificazione potrà essere concessa per la fornitura di tutti i prodotti appartenenti al gruppo merceologico, di seguito descritto, o anche solo per una parte di essi.
Le valvole oggetto della tipologia in esame sono destinate agli impianti termoelettrici.
Le caratteristiche e le norme di maggior dettaglio applicabili per la commessa in oggetto saranno riportate nelle Specifiche Tecniche che fornirà in occasione di ciascuna commessa. Le prescrizioni funzionali e costruttive sotto descritte sono riportate a titolo esemplificativo in ragione della diversità di tipologie destinate agli impianti; esse tengono conto dei requisiti generali e di quelli specifici per la fornitura in esame.
2 Descrizione del gruppo merceologico
Il gruppo merceologico in esame è suddiviso in due comparti, per i quali è prevista una qualificazione differenziata:
2.1 Comparto A: “Valvole di by-pass turbina e assimilabili e relativi sistemi di desurriscaldamento vapore”
Le valvole sono da intendersi complete di:
azionamento pneumatico od oleodinamico;
accessori quali posizionatore, trasmettitore di posizione, finecorsa, valvole a solenoide, azionamento manuale, serbatoi riserva aria strumenti;
centralina oleodinamica (eventuale) completa di interfaccia con sistema di regolazione principale.
Il sistema di desurriscaldamento è da intendersi completo di:
valvole pneumatiche od oleodinamiche di regolazione della temperatura del vapore, corredate di tutti i necessari accessori;
del sistema ad ugelli di iniezione e nebulizzazione dell’acqua di desurriscaldamento (tronco desurriscaldante).
(Tale sistema può essere eventualmente incorporato nella valvola di regolazione della temperatura, assumendo la configurazione di “desurriscaldatore ad ugello variabile”)
2.2 Comparto B: “Valvole di regolazione varie e pneumatiche on-off
Il comparto comprende valvole di regolazione e pneumatiche on-off , complete di accessori.
I fluidi di processo sono normalmente liquidi sottoraffreddati (con problemi di cavitazione), liquidi saturi od evaporanti (con problemi di “flashing”), vapore d’acqua saturo e surriscaldato, combustibili liquidi e gassosi e fluidi ausiliari in genere:
le condizioni operative possono comportare elevati differenziali di pressione ed elevate temperature.
I circuiti interessati sono pertanto i seguenti:
Condensato.
Acqua alimento.
Vapore principale.
Vapore risurriscaldato caldo – Vapore risurriscaldato freddo.
Vapore ausiliario.
Drenaggi e sfiati.
Spillamenti di turbina.
Combustibili (liquidi e gassosi).
Servizi ausiliari.
Le commesse relative ad entrambi i comparti in cui è stata suddivisa la tipologia merceologica in esame comprendono anche le seguenti prestazioni e servizi:
- Progettazione funzionale, esecutiva e di dettaglio di quanto compreso nella fornitura.
- Pianificazione e controllo delle attività progettuali e/o realizzative, in particolare deve essere dimostrata la corretta applicazione di tecnologie di lavorazione (procedure, personale e mezzi) contenute nel progetto costruttivo, con particolare riguardo a quelle ad elevato contenuto tecnologico.
- Predisposizione di un piano di controllo qualità, da presentare per accettazione;
- Prove, controlli e collaudi in officina.
- Marcatura, verniciatura, immagazzinamento, condizionamento, conservazione, trasporto.
- Predisposizione della documentazione certificativa.
- Assistenza post-vendita.
E' inoltre richiesta la generazione di dati relativi alla pianificazione ed all'avanzamento delle singole attività progettuali e realizzative, secondo modalità indicate dall'ENEL, in occasione di ciascuna singola commessa.
3 Principali caratteristiche tecniche
La vita convenzionale delle apparecchiature, cui fare riferimento per la progettazione, è di 25 anni.
Le stesse dovranno garantire un alto grado di continuità di servizio e una manutenzione agevole e ridotta al minimo.
Le caratteristiche tecniche e le prescrizioni di maggior dettaglio applicabili per la commessa in oggetto saranno riportate nelle Specifiche Tecniche e nei Data Sheets predisposti da …….. per le singole forniture.
Di seguito vengono riportate le caratteristiche funzionali e costruttive più generali e basilari.
3.1 Caratteristiche funzionali
Per i vari aspetti funzionali si indicano sinteticamente i requisiti, validi per entrambi i comparti (salvo dove diversamente indicato):
a) Coefficiente di portata (Cv o Kv): si dovrà far riferimento alla normativa IEC 534-2, sez. da 1 a 5. La capacità di scarico effettiva delle valvole non potrà discostarsi più del 5% dal valore dichiarato dal Costruttore.
b) Rumorosità: alla distanza di 1 m. dalla valvola, in tutte le condizioni operative, il livello equivalente continuo della pressione sonora pesata A LAeq, misurato e corretto in accordo alla ISO 1996, non dovrà superare i limiti indicati nella specifica tecnica di acquisizione (di norma sono richiesti valori compresi tra 82 e 85 dB (A) con tolleranza 0 dB).
c) Cavitazione e laminazione: con fluidi incomprimibili ed in presenza di elevati differenziali di pressione dovranno essere utilizzati interni progettati per frazionare l’intero salto di pressione in più step al fine di contenere velocità del fluido ed il recupero di pressione,per evitare l’insorgere del fenomeno dannoso della cavitazione e l’usura da laminazione.
d) Velocità di azionamento: normalmente deve essere compresa tra 5 mm/s e10 mm/s. Per le valvole del comparto A si richiede che le valvole compiano l’intera corsa in apertura in meno di 3 s.
e) Classi di tenuta e prove funzionali: si deve far riferimento alla norma IEC 534-4.
f) Curva caratteristica e rangeability: per i relativi criteri di formulazione e accettabilità si deve far riferimento alla Norma IEC 534-2-4.
3.2 Caratteristiche costruttive
I corpi valvola dovranno essere fusi o forgiati in un solo pezzo e potranno essere a globo, rotative, ad angolo o a “Z”, con estremità flangiate o a saldare. Sono accettabili corpi flangless o tipo wafer per rating inferiori a PN50. Non sono accettati corpi valvola composti, tipo “split body” o saldati. Il dimensionamento dei corpi e delle parti in pressione dovrà essere conforme alle Norme ANSI B16-34 o DIN 3840.
L’insieme valvola attuatore e accessori, per quanto concerne la progettazione, fabbricazione e valutazione di conformità dovrà ottemperare alla direttiva PED n° 97/23/CE, recepito con DGLS n° 93 del 25 febbraio 2000.
I materiali dei corpi saranno scelti, oltre che in funzione dei fogli di progetto anche del tipo di trasformazione termodinamica del fluido di processo.
In particolare,per valvole riduttrici di pressione operanti su liquidi con elevati differenziali di pressione o su liquidi “evaporanti”, dovranno essere selezionati corpi in acciaio legato al Cr-Mo (ASTM A217-WC9, A217-WC6, A217-C5).
Normalmente gli interni (trim) saranno del tipo a gabbia (singola o multipla), a rapida intercambialità (“quick change trim”) e con otturatore bilanciato, con o senza pilota di intercettazione del bilanciamento.
3.3 Prove e garanzie di prestazione
Ogni valvola, completa di attuatore ed accessori verrà sottoposta,secondo modalità di dettaglio precisate nelle specifiche tecniche dell’…….., a:
3.3.1 Prove di officina:
- prove standard, quali la pressatura idraulica del corpo, di tenuta otturatore - sede, esami magnetoscopici, liquidi penetranti, RX;
- prove funzionali quali verifica corsa nominale, banda morta e tempo corsa;
- prove speciali, quando richieste sui data sheet, quali esami radiografici e gammagrafici ed esami con ultrasuoni.
3.3.2 Prove sull’impianto:
sono previste verifiche sul livello di rumorosità prodotto, sui tempi di corsa a carico e, se necessario, sulla capacità di scarico.
Devono inoltre essere forniti tutti i certificati di origine attestanti le caratteristiche chimico-meccaniche dei componenti in pressione e di quelli del complesso di azionamento.
La certificazione relativa alle prove, ai controlli e ai materiali deve attestare i valori riscontrati durante le prove e i controlli e la loro valutazione, il metodo utilizzato, gli standard di riferimento o le procedure utilizzate.
3.4 Normativa
I riferimenti normativi di base sono i seguenti:
- ANSI ASME B16.34
- Serie completa delle IEC 534
- Direttiva PED, 97/23/CE e DLGS di recepimento n° 93 del 25 febbraio 2000
- Normativa EN
4 Requisiti di base per la qualificazione
Vengono indicati di seguito i requisiti tecnico-qualitativi di base necessari per poter essere inclusi nell'elenco dei fornitori Enel relativo alla tipologia in esame:
- Conformità con i requisiti di tipo funzionale e costruttivo richiesti dall'…..delle apparecchiature già realizzate.
- Referenze del fornitore su forniture di valvole dello stesso tipo, costruite ed in esercizio; nel caso di fornitura su licenza, oltre a referenze del licenziante il licenziatario deve dimostrare di possedere proprie referenze di costruzione su forniture di caratteristiche assimilabili per taglia e complessità, già in esercizio; gli accordi di licenza devono inoltre garantire adeguata durata e coinvolgimento del licenziante nel trasferimento di know-how e nell'assistenza post-vendita.
In caso di licenza è richiesto che la verifica sulla progettazione, quando prevista, venga svolta direttamente dal licenziante (almeno per le parti coperte da licenza e/o che richiedano innovazioni rispetto alle macchine già realizzate).
- Disponibilità di uffici di progettazione dotati di organici e mezzi informatici di entità e livello tale da garantire lo sviluppo delle attività previste, anche in conformità con quanto previsto dall’eventuale licenziante.
- Esistenza di una struttura gestionale in grado di garantire il coordinamento e la programmazione delle attività progettuali e realizzative come richiesto dalle procedure gestionali ……...
- Risorse adeguate per le attività di costruzione. A tale riguardo è essenziale la disponibilità delle attrezzature per le lavorazioni speciali e l'addestramento del personale specializzato.
E' consentito l'affidamento a terzi di attività costruttive relative, a parti, componenti, semilavorati, purché il fornitore si dimostri in grado di effettuare un idoneo controllo e supervisione della costruzione affidata a terzi. A tal fine i terzi devono possedere gli stessi requisiti base del Fornitore relativamente alle parti di loro fornitura.
- Esistenza di un adeguato servizio di assistenza post-vendita in grado di assicurare:
- La fornitura di ricambi intercambiabili con quelli di prima fornitura, comprensivi degli eventuali aggiornamenti apportati dal detentore del know-how.
- Risorse adeguate per le attività di manutenzione e di revisioni anche speciali dei componenti delle valvole (tenute,ecc.).
- La rintracciabilità di tutta la documentazione relativa a ciascuna valvola
- Attestazione di conformità delle valvole prodotte alla direttiva Europea 97/23 (PED).
Il Fabbricante dovrà dimostrare tale conformità mediante la certificazione, da parte di un organismo notificato (Notified Body), della rispondenza delle valvole prodotte ai requisiti della direttiva. Il Fornitore deve mettere a disposizione di …., qualora ….. lo ritenga necessario, i fascicoli tecnici di certificazione per le proprie verifiche.
- Attuazione di un Sistema Qualità conforme ai requisiti della norma UNI EN ISO 9001: 2000
L'eventuale certificazione da parte di un organismo accreditato del Vs. SQ, conforme al modello richiesto per la tipologia oggetto della qualificazione, costituirà prova sufficiente della adeguatezza del SQ stesso.
L'…….. si riserva tuttavia, anche in tal caso, il diritto di eseguire una verifica del SQ, qualora lo ritenga necessario.
- Disponibilità a fornire, in sede di ordine la seguente documentazione minima:
- i disegni di assieme delle valvole e dei componenti principali contenenti le dimensioni, i pesi, i materiali, le condizioni di esercizio e la part list dei componenti;
- lista dei componenti di ricambio raccomandati;
- manuali di istruzioni per l’installazione, l’esercizio e la manutenzione, comprendente le istruzioni dei componenti accessori, in lingua italiana;
- dossier tecnico di fabbricazione di ciascuna valvola contenente tutti i certificati dei controlli e delle prove eseguite (certificati materiali, report degli NDT, certificato di prova idraulica ecc.);
- Disponibilità a far visionare, in sede di qualifica, i disegni costruttivi delle valvole; tali disegni dovranno essere gli stessi utilizzati in sede di costruzione delle valvole per i controlli dimensionali, di corretta esecuzione delle finiture superficiale ecc.

1 Introduction
The present document concisely describes the characteristics of the “Pneumatic control and on/off valves for thermoelectric plants” product classification and defines the basic technical-qualitative requirements which the potential vendors should have in order to be enrolled in the Registry of ………….. Qualified Suppliers.
The qualification which will be awarded shall refer to the individual manufacturing facilities being evaluated and shall not be extended to the other manufacturing facilities of the company or of the industrial group to which the company, which are different from those being evaluated.
The qualification may be awarded for the supply of all of the products belonging to the product qualification, described here below, or also for a part of the same.
The valves which are the subject of the typology shall be used in thermoelectric power plants.
The characteristics and the applicable norms of the engagement shall be stated in greater detail in the Technical Specifications which …………. will supply for each engagement. Owing to the different kinds of typologies for power plants, the functional and manufacturing requirements described below are stated as an example; they also take into account both the general requirements as well as those specific ones for the engagement in question.
2 Description of the Product Classification
The product classification under examination is subdivided into two parts, for which a differentiated qualification is foreseen:
2.1 Section A: “Turbine bypass valves and those of a similar nature together with the related steam desuperheating systems”
The valves are understood to be complete with:
Pneumatic or hydraulic actuators;
accessories such as a positioners, feed back position transmitter, limit switches, solenoid valves, manual override , instrument air reserve tanks;
hydraulic control unit (eventual) complete with an interface with the main regulating system.
The desuperheating system is understood to be complete with:
pneumatic and hydraulic steam temperature regulating valves, equipped with all of the necessary accessories;
System of desuperheating water spray and injection nozzles (desuperheating station).
(Such systems can eventually be incorporated in the temperature regulating valves assuming the configuration of the “variable desuperheater nozzle”)
2.2 Section B: “Various regulating control and pneumatic on/off valves
The section includes regulating control and pneumatic on/off valves, complete with accessories.
The process fluids are normally supercooled liquids (with problems of cavitation), saturated or evaporating liquids (with problems of flashing), saturated and superheated steam, liquid and gas fuels as well as auxiliary fluids in general in general:
The operational conditions can entail elevated differential pressures and high temperatures.
The circuits concerned are consequently the following:
Condensate.
Water flow.
Main steam.
Hot reheat steam – cold reheat steam.
Auxiliary steam .
Drainage and vents.
Turbine bleeding
Fuels (liquids and gaseous).
Auxiliary services .
The engagements concern both the sections in which the product typology under examination has been divided and include the following services which will be furnished:
- Functional drawings, as well as executive and detailed planning of what is included the consignment.
- Planning and control of the engineering and/or manufacturing activities, in particular, the correct application of manufacturing technologies (procedures, personnel, and means) contained in the fabrication project should be demonstrated, with special care given to those with a high technological content.
- A quality control plan which shall be presented for acceptance;
- Testing, controls and trials carried out in the facility.
- Marking, painting, storage, conditioning, preservation, transport.
- Certification documentation
- Post-sales assistance .
In addition the suppliers should furnish information concerning the planning and state of progress of the individual engineering and manufacturing activities in conformity with the procedures set out by ………….., on the occasion of each individual commission.
3 Main Technical Characteristics
The equipment is to be designed for a conventional lifespan of 25 years.
The vendor shall ensure a high degree of continuity in service and the maintenance shall be easy and reduced to a minimum.
More detailed technical characteristics and requirements with which the vendor must comply are set out in the Technical Specification and Data Sheets furnished by ENEL for the individual engagements.
The more general and basic functional and fabrication characteristics are as follows:
3.1 Functional Features
For the various functional aspects what is summarily meant to apply to both sections (except where they are indicated differently):
a) Flow coefficient (Cv or Kv): should comply with the IEC 534-2 norm, sections .1 to 5. The valve’s effective discharge capacity can not deviate more than 5% from the value declared by the Manufacturer.
b) The noise level at 1 meter of distance from the valve, the equivalent of continuous A LAeq-weighted, measured and corrected Sound Pressure Levels throughout the operating range of the valve in compliance with the ISO 1996, should not exceed the limits indicated in the procurement technical specifications (normally the required values are between 82 and 85 dBA with a tolerance of 0 dB).
c) Cavitation and lamination: with incompressible fluids and in the presence of high pressure differentials, the design shall provide a sufficient number of discrete pressure drop stages, to keep the fluid velocity and pressure levels to a degree where cavitating, flashing and/or lamination erosion phenomena are prevented.
d) Stroking speed: should normally between 5 mm/s and10 mm/s. For the valves of section A is required that the valves stroke over their entire travel in less than 3 s.
e) Classes of sealing as well as functional tests should be performed in compliance with the norm IEC 534-4.
f) Characteristic curve and rangeability: for the related formulation criteria and acceptability please refer to the IEC norm 534-2-4.
3.2 Construction Characteristics
The valve bodies should be cast or forged in a single piece and can be globe-style, rotary, angle-style or “Z”-style, with flanged or weld end connections. Flangless or wafter-type bodies are acceptable for ratings which are less than PN50. Compound, slip body or welded valve bodies are not acceptable. The sizing of the bodies and pressure parts must be in conformity with the ANSI B16-34 and DIN 3840 design standards.
The entire unit actuator valve and accessories, as concerns the design, manufacturing and evaluation of conformity must comply with the directive PED n° 97/23/CE, incorporated into the Legislative Decree n° 93 of 25 February 2000.
The body materials will be chosen, not only in function of the design sheets also of the kind of thermodynamic transformation of the process fluid.
In particular, for pressure reducing valves operating with liquids with high pressure differentials or with “vaporizing liquids”, bodies in Cr-Mo alloy (ASTM A217-WC9, A217-WC6, A217-C5). must be chosen.
Normally the trim will be of a cage-style.(single or multiple seat), with quick-change type trim and with a balanced plug, with or pilot balancing .
3.3 Testing and performance guarantee
Every valve, complete with actuator and accessories will undergo, in accordance with details stated in …………’s technical specifications,:
3.3.1 Laboratory Testing:
- Standard tests; hydraulic press test of the valve bodies, of the plug seal - seat, magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant testing, radiographic testing;
- Functional tests such as the verification of nominal flow, deadband test and flow times;
- Special testes, upon requests on the data sheets, radiographic and ultrasound examinations.
3.3.2 Tests of the System:
Checks on the noise level produced by the product are foreseen, on flow times and load times and is necessary on discharge capacity.
They should furthermore be supplied with a certificate from the manufacturer stating all of the chemical-mechanical characteristics of the pressure components together with those of the actuation system.
The certification concerning the tests, controls and materials must state the values encountered during the testing and evaluation, the method utilized, the reference standards and procedures used...
3.4 Norms and Regulations
The basic reference norms are the following:
- ANSI ASME B16.34
- Complete series of the IEC 534
- EPD directive, 97/23/EC and the Legislative Decree of adoption n° 93 of 25 February ….2000
- EN Regulations
4 Basic Requirements for Qualifying.
The following basic technical-qualitative requirements are mandatory for being included in the registry of ……… suppliers for the classification being considered:
- The equipment already fabricated must be in conformity with the functional and manufacturing requirements set out by ………...
- Supplier work record on the furnishing of valves of the same kind, which have been manufactured and are operating, in the case of supplying under a license, in addition to the record of the licensor, the licensee must demonstrate .that it possesses its own manufacturing record of supplying devices with characteristics which are similar in terms of size and complexity, which are already operating, the licensing contracts should furthermore guarantee adequate length of the licensor’s involvement in the transfer of the know-how and after-sales assistance..
In the case of a license, it is requested that that verification of the design, when foreseen, is carried out directly by the licensor (at least as regards the parts covered by a license and/or which require innovations as regards the machinery which has already been manufactured.).
- Availability of the design offices equipped with personnel and computer systems which are able to ensure the performance of the foreseen activities as well as in being conformity with that foreseen by the eventual licensor ..
- Existence of managerial structure which is able to ensure the coordination and planning of the design and manufacturing process requested by …….. managerial procedures.
- Adequate resources for manufacturing activities . Concerning this, the availability of equipment for specialized work and the training or specialized personnel is essential.
Entrusting the manufacturing activities concerning semi-processed parts, and components, to third- parties , is allowed on the condition that the Supplier can demonstrated that it is able to carry out a suitable control and supervision of the manufacturing entrusted to third parties. For such a purpose, the third-parties must posses the same basic requirements as the Supplier concerning the parts supplied by them.
- Existence of a suitable after-sales service which is able to ensure:
- The supply of parts which are interchangeable with those of the first supply, including any eventual updates produced by the know-how holder.
- Sufficient human resources for maintenance and overhauling activities, including specialized valve components. (gaskets, ect.).
- The traceability of all of the documentation concerning each valve.
- Attestation that the valves have been produced in conformity with the European directive 97/23 (EDP).
The Manufacturer must demonstrate this conformity by means of certification from a Notified Body, and that the valves have been produced in keeping with the requirements of the directive The Supplier must make the technical certification files available to …….. whenever …….. considers it necessary in order to carry out its own verifications..
- Implementation of a Quality System which is in conformity with the requirements of the norm UNI EN ISO 9001: 2000
The eventual .certification of your Quality System by an accredited body, in conformity with the model requested for the typology of the object of the qualification, will constitute sufficient proof of the Quality System itself.
……. reserves the right however, even in such a case to carry out a control of the Quality System, whenever it deems it necessary.
- Willingness to supply, .at the time of ordering, the following minimum documentation:
- the drawings of the whole valve and its main components containing sizes, weights, materials together with the operating conditions and the parts list of components;
- list of the components and recommended spare parts;
- manual of instructions for the installation, running and maintenance, including the instructions of the accessory components in the Italian language;
- technical manufacturing dossier of each valve of each valve containing all of the control certificates and tests carried out (certified materials, Non Destructive Testing report, certificate of the hydraulic testing etc.);
- Willingness to allow the inspection, during qualification, of the construction designs of the valves; such designs should be the same used during the manufacturing of the valves for sizing controls , for the correct execution of the surface finish etc.

L’aumento delle “Altre immobilizzazioni” è principalmente relativo ai lavori di ristrutturazione eseguiti sull’immobile in leasing destinato alla sede degli uffici di Roma (per Euro 892) e alla capitalizzazione degli oneri sul finanziamento Unicredit relativo al nuovo cantiere di Ancona (per Euro 340). Il decremento è invece da imputare all’ammortamento delle spese di installazione cantiere nelle succursali in Brasile e in Argentina.

IMPIANTO IDROELETTRICO DELLA VAL NOANA (1955 – 1957)
Descrizione sintetica
L’impianto idroelettrico della Val Noana situato nel comune di Imer (TN) raccoglie le acque nel torrente Noana del bacino superiore del torrente Cismon con una portata media annua di 3 m³ al secondo.
La diga è del tipo a grande arco cupola con una altezza massima di 126 m ed una lunghezza al coronamento di 135 m.
La superficie dell’invaso formato dalla diga è di 0,24 km² ed il volume è di 10,89⋅106 m³ con una quota massima di regolazione di 1015 m s.m. L’acqua, attraverso una galleria in pressione del diametro di 3 m, lunga 5,6 km, raggiunge la camera di compensazione e quindi la condotta forzata del diametro di 1,9 m, con una lunghezza di 480 m.
La centrale in sotterraneo è dotata di turbine Francis ad asse verticale con un generatore di potenza pari a 55,6 MW. Queste unità utilizzano una portata di 14,3 m³ al secondo con un salto di 450 m per una producibilità di 76,4 GWh.
L’impianto è stato costruito tra il 1956 ed il 1959 dall’Impresa Farsura Spa.

Brief description
The Val Noana hydroelectric plant located in the municipality of Imer (TN) collects the waters of the upper basin of the Cismon River into the Noana River with an average annual diverted flow of 3 m³ per second.
The dam is a big arch dome-type with a 126 m maximum height and a crest length of 135 m.
The surface of the reservoir created by the dam is 0.24 km ² and the volume is 10.8989⋅106 m³ with a maximum regulation elevation of 1015 meters above sea level. The water, through a pressure tunnel of a 3 m diameter, 5.6 km long, reaches the compensation chamber and then the penstock of a 1.9 m diameter, with a 480 m length.
The underground power station is equipped with vertical-axis Francis turbines with a one generator providing a 55.6 MW installed capacity. These units use a diverted flow of 14.3 m³ per second with a 450 m waterfall for a hydroelectric production of 76.4 GWh.
The power plant was built between 1956 and 1959 by the Farsura Spa company

Each capacitor shall have one or two bushings dependent on the mounting arrangement.
The arrangement of the fixing and the bushings shall be identical in order to easily exchange and replace any capacitor element of the total capacitor bank. The terminals for bushings and fixing elements shall be ISO standard (metric).

Source text - Italian Parlare oggi di questo libro, ma soprattutto di quello che quel film – Sagapò – poteva essere, mi evoca ricordi lontani, della fanciullezza, ma ancora vivi nella memoria. E, in questi mesi, cercando tra le tante lettere, rovistando tra gli appunti e gli scritti di mio padre, ma anche nei libri autobiografici e nei numerosi documenti ufficiali che Anna Magnani ha lasciato, e nella tesi di laurea redatta con estrema attenzione pochi anni or sono dalla studentessa Silvia Cavalli, ho ricostruito la lunga vicenda di un romanzo che, in molti, hanno tentato di portare sul grande schermo. Ho percepito con quale forza la grande attrice Anna Magnani abbia cercato, con tutta la sua carica di carisma, umanità e volontà, di essere l’interprete principale di un grande film, che grazie ad un mix di elementi quali la guerra, il dramma, l’amore, la passione, doveva seguire il successo di Roma, città aperta, e che per questo aveva individuato in Roberto Rossellini l’altro grande protagonista. Fu una storia che diventò pubblica quando il produttore Bini presentò i programmi con i palinsesti dei film che avrebbe prodotto e nei quali aveva inserito anche Sagapò.
Riporta infatti il libro Anna Magnani, scritto da Matilde Hochkofler: «Nel 1961 si parla di una riduzione cinematografica di Sagapò. Il progetto è annunciato nel programma di produzione che Alfredo Bini presenta per la stagione ‘62-‘63. “Il sensazionale ritorno della coppia di Roma, città aperta e L’amore. Con Anna Magnani. Il problema stava tutto nelle interpreti: uno dei maestri del cinema contemporaneo, e del neorealismo italiano, Roberto Rossellini, si era innamorato di Ingrid Bergman e lasciò ogni altro progetto che non fosse a lei legato. E Bini voleva imporre nel film sua moglie, Rosanna Schiaffino, a scapito della Magnani. Così quel film, che doveva essere girato con i maggiori interpreti del momento, non si fece più.

• Exposure reduction

AIDR 3D can be applied to all acquisition modes for routine clinical use and is able to remove up to 50% of image noise, resulting in dose reduction of up to 75%. It delivers an integrated solution to facilitate diagnostic decision-making at the lowest possible radiation dose without compromising image quality.
Boost3D allows X-ray dose to be minimized for regions with high X-ray absorption such as the shoulders, and permits images with a high degree of accuracy to be obtained.
• High-quality images
All data is acquired as part of a high-resolution volume that can provide smooth, finely detailed 3D and MPR images.
• Image reconstruction
This system employs the reconstruction techniques coneXact, coneXact+, volumeXact, volumeXact+ (volume scan, dynamic volume scan) and TCOT, TCOT+, V-TCOT (helical scan), which minimize the artifacts related to the cone angle, providing sharp images.
• Selectable image slice thickness
It is possible to acquire the data for routine examination, detailed examination and to generate 3D images in a single scan.
For example, from an original 0.5-mm high resolution volume data set, it is possible to additionally generate images at various slice thicknesses ranging from 1 up to 10 mm. The original 0.5-mm volume data set can be used for generating 3D images.
• Improved image workflow functions
This system also has a function for automatically generating MPR images when scanning is completed by presetting the MPR generation conditions (for coronal and sagittal images) in the eXam Plan. These images can also be automatically transferred to multiple destinations, including imagers and image servers. La visualizzazione, l’alimentazione delle immagini, le riprese e il trasferimento per le immagini MPR generate sono possibili sia sul monitor del sistema di scansione che sul monitor di elaborazione delle immagini, utilizzando la stessa interfaccia d’utente per immagini assiali. Pannelli operativi per il controllo del gantry e del lettino porta-paziente sono forniti sia sul lato destro e sinistro, sia nella parte anteriore e posteriore del gantry. La possibilità di far funzionare il gantry e il lettino porta-paziente dalla parte posteriore del gantry consente di fornire un’assistenza adeguata al paziente .
• Sistema a due monitor
Aquilion ONE è dotato di un sistema a due monitor per migliorare l'efficienza e il flusso operativo. Il sistema è costituito da due diverse consolle – la prima per la scansione e l'altra per l'elaborazione di immagini , operando indipendentemente o in parallelo mentre condividono lo stesso database clinico.
• Scansione e ricostruzione ECG-gated (elettrocardiografiche sincronizzate) (opzione)
La combinazione di un monitor ECG con questo sistema consente la scansione e la ricostruzione tramite il segnale ECG-gating.
Questo permette di ottenere immagini cardiache nel momento in cui il cuore è relativamente immobile nell'ultima metà della diastole ventricolare. Questo non solo riduce il tempo durante il quale il paziente deve trattenere il respiro, ma modera inoltre l'influenza del tasso di fluttuazione del cuore durante la scansione, con conseguente miglioramento della qualità dell’immagine per la regione cardiaca. Source text - Italian 5. CAMPO DI FUNZIONAMENTO DEGLI IMPIANTI DI PRODUZIONE
Tutti gli impianti di produzione ed i relativi macchinari ed apparecchiature devono essere progettati, costruiti ed eserciti per restare in parallelo anche in condizioni di emergenza e di ripristino di rete. In particolare gli impianti, in ogni condizione di carico, devono essere in grado di rimanere permanentemente connessi alla rete MT e BT per valori di tensione nel punto di consegna, compresi nell’intervallo 85% Vn ≤ V ≤ 110% Vn o nell’intervallo 90% Vn ≤ V < 105% Vn misurato ai morsetti di macchina.
Riguardo all’esercizio in parallelo con la rete MT/BT in funzione della frequenza, l'impianto di produzione non rotante deve essere in grado di rimanere connesso alla rete permanentemente , per valori di frequenza tra 47,5 Hz ≤ f ≤ 51,5 Hz. Per gli impianti rotanti nello stesso intervallo è ammesso lo scostamento dai valori di produzione precedenti il transitorio nonché dai tempi di permanenza.
L’Utente Attivo deve garantire che tali intervalli di funzionamento siano rispettati sia dalle protezioni di interfaccia che dalle protezioni e regolazioni dell’impianto di produzione. L’Impresa di Distribuzione vigila sul rispetto di tali requisiti.
Per soddisfare contemporaneamente le esigenze generali del Sistema Elettrico Nazionale, le esigenze delle Imprese di Distribuzione, nonché le esigenze degli utenti attivi (salvaguardia del macchinario di generazione)- e dei clienti finali (qualità del servizio) è necessario adottare logiche di funzionamento in grado di selezionare soglie e tempi di intervento dei relè di frequenza sulla base di due diversi tipi di evento:
■ guasto locale
■ perturbazione di sistema con variazione transitoria della frequenza.
Nel capitolo 8 viene descritta, sia per il livello MT che per quello BT, una soluzione funzionale delle logiche di intervento delle protezioni di minima e massima frequenza degli impianti di produzione, coerente con la prescrizione.

• perturbation of the system with a transient variation of the frequency.
An operational solution of the underfrequency and overfrequency protection trip logic of the production plants, in keeping with the requirements is described in Chapter 8, both for the MV level as well as for the LV level.

I lived in France for several years and graduated from the Institue des Etudes Politiques de Lyon, France with the equivalent of a BA and did graduate work in international economics at Johns Hopkins University School of International Studies which included a year in Bologna, Italy as well as in Washington D.C. (I also worked in the African Studies division of Johns Hopkins University for a while).
I am married to an Italian (also with a Johns Hopkins MA so any work I do in Italian is controlled by an native speaking Italian with an excellent knowledge of English) and have lived in Italy for nearly 25 years.
