I am a translator of English with more than ten years of experience. I graduated
from the Institute of English Studies at the University of Łódź, completing
Master studies in English philology, specialisation: translation of literature.
I also completed postgraduate translation studies at the University of Łódź.

In
2015, after several years of cooperation with renowned translation agencies in
Poland, I started my own business under the name Carrie Translations. I
specialise in translation of technical and medical texts (including patents in
genetics and molecular biology, as well as instruction manuals for medical
equipment). In the meantime, I pursue my true passion, i.e. translation of
literature. I translated two book published in Poland: a collection fan-written

and a biography of a famous British actor Benedict Cumberbatch (https://www.empik.com/benedict-cumberbatch-czas-zmian-nieautoryzowana-biografia-historia-niezwyklej-kariery-porter-lynnette,p1099621170,ksiazka-p).

I
have extensive experience in working on long, complex translation projects that
require additional research, but I am also able to work under the pressure of
time to meet tight deadlines. I use Trados Studio 2019 software.
