Итак, начнём с первой и довольно очевидной причины, почему стоит (worth) жить в России — это цены. Я уже в некоторых своих видео это упоминал (mentioned): цены на интернет, цены на такси, цены на аренду жилья (rent), на продукты, на... когда вы идёте в ресторан. То есть это не сравнится ни коим образом с тем, что можно встретить в Европе, в Западной Европе. Ну и в США, да? Я вот сейчас именно обращаюсь больше к людям из Запада, скажем так. Почему вот им было бы интересно поехать в Россию? Потому что с той зарплатой (заработная плата, salary), которая у вас есть там, здесь вы будете богатыми. Вы сразу станете богатыми, потому что здесь совершенно другие доходы, совершенно другие траты. Поэтому это очень приятно.
1:55 Интернет и такси
Несколько примеров, чтобы вы понимали, о чём идёт речь. За интернет, к примеру, я плачу около 10 (десяти) долларов, и у меня там скорость 300 (триста) мегабит в секунду. То есть прекрасный, быстрый интернет за очень небольшие деньги. Второй пример — это такси. В среднем в России вам нужно где-то 3 (три) доллара за поездку. То есть стандартная поездка (trip) по городу — это три доллара. Дальше это где-то 5 (пять). Но самое максимальное, что вы можете заплатить — это, там не знаю, 10 (десять) долларов, до аэропорта, например. Во всех остальных случаях это будет очень дёшево. Я, например, в Новосибирске платил вообще 100 (сто) рублей, ну типа полтора (1,5) доллара за поездку от дома до метро. И поэтому я часто пользуюсь такси в России, потому что я понимаю, что это супердёшево по сравнению с Европой.
2:49 Аренда жилья
Например, аренда жилья, да? Я сейчас в Краснодаре. Я приехал сюда на месяц, продлевать (extend) лето, скажем так. Потому что здесь ещё тепло, а в Питере уже холодно. И я снял квартиру на месяц. Я заплатил за это где-то... ну, 25 000 (двадцать пять тысяч), то есть... Ну сколько это? Четыреста (400) долларов, получается, будет примерно? Да, около 400 (четырёхсот) долларов. И это ещё очень хороший вариант. То есть, если вы хотите найти бюджетный вариант, это где-то 200 (двести) долларов. За 200 (двести) долларов можно снять квартиру на месяц (rent an apartment for a month) в Краснодаре, в очень... ну, довольно-таки комфортном городе, не самом маленьком. Так что это тоже очень приятный такой бонус — цены в России, в общем.
Translation - English 1:06 Reason #1 — Prices
Let’s begin with the first and quite obvious reason why it’s worth it to live in Russia—the cost of living. I already mentioned the cost of internet, taxi rides, rent, groceries, and restaurants in some of my videos. They’re not in the slightest comparable to what you’ll see in Europe—in Western Europe. And in America, right? I’m mainly addressing people from the West right now. Why would they be interested in going to Russia? Because with the salary that you have there, you’ll be rich here. You’ll immediately become rich because the salaries and expenses here are completely different. So that's nice.
1:55 Internet and Taxi Rides
A few examples to get my point across. I pay around 10 (ten) dollars a month for internet, for example, and I get 300 (three hundred) megabits per second. That’s great, fast internet for not a lot of money. My second example is taxi rides. You’ll pay 3 (three) dollars on average for a standard trip around the city in Russia. A bit further and it’ll be 5 (five) dollars. But the most you can pay is, I don’t know, 10 (ten) dollars, to the airport, let’s say. In all other cases it’ll be really cheap. For example, in Novosibirsk I only paid 100 (one hundred) rubles, around one and a half (1.5) dollars for a ride from my house to the train station. That’s why I take the taxi a lot in Russia—because I recognize that it’s super cheap in comparison with Europe.
2:49 Rent
Let’s talk about rent. I’m in Krasnodar right now. I’ve come here for a month to “prolong summer,” so to speak, because it’s warm here, but in Petersburg it’s already cold. I rented an apartment for a month and paid around 25,000 (twenty-five thousand) for it... So how much is that? Around four hundred (400) dollars? Right, around 400 (four hundred) dollars. And what’s more is that it’s a nice apartment. Meaning if you’re looking for more of a budget option, that’s around 200 (two hundred) dollars. You can rent an apartment for 200 (two hundred) dollars a month in Krasnodar, in a very... well, pretty livable, and not the smallest city. So yeah, that’s a very nice perk—the prices in Russia as a whole.
