I mostly translate technical manuals for the installation, usage, and maintenance of all kinds of machines and electrical devices, industrial systems, automation, automotive, and household appliances. In addition telecommunication, software, finance, company presentations, websites, advertising, certificates, usage terms and conditions, and general type of texts.
I have been working as a freelance translator for several translation agencies since 2001 in the fields mentioned above. I hold a university degree in translations and have experience from working in the Finnish translation division of the European Parliament.
My normal rate is EUR1.10 per source line/55 characters (incl. empty spaces) or the word rates mentioned above. Can be negotiated separately for each job depending on the volume, text type, urgency, etc.
