I grew up and studied in a bilingual environment in Denmark, before 'flying out' to explore the world gaining multicultural work experience, and learning a third language – this has proved to be very valuable for my professional life and career as a translator combined with my excellent capacity to critical thinking, persistence and thoroughness.

My degree from Copenhagen Business School as well as my interest in workplace well-being and psychology has given me a solid base to handle HR, Talent Management and business material which I have successfully translated and revised for more than 19 years now.

Since 2020, I am the lead translator on the localization teams for two world-leading Danish sports and fashion brands. On a continuous basis, I am an integral part of a TRAPD process for EU survey translations.

In my daily life, a part from being a full-time translator, I do CrossFit. In this sport – as in life – I am always persevering and aiming high, with great results. My interest in and in-dept knowledge about other sports, healthy living, sports apparel & footwear comes naturally from here.

As a linguist, I work with a very high degree of care doing research if at all unsure, raising queries and making sure the target text has a nice flow and is of top quality in terms of correctness, style, TOV, and the target group. I will never settle for the second best!
