Background
Having been born in Colombia and raised in the New York City borough of the Bronx (USA), I am a native speaker of both English and Spanish. I currently live in Medellin, Colombia and work as a freelance translator and ESL instructor.
While at CUNY/Baruch College I studied Italian for one year and have a working knowledge of Italian. I have translated wine technical sheets from Italian into English and am interested in gaining experience translating Italian official documents into English and/or Spanish.
In addition, I have many years of experience in fields such as law (medical malpractice), business and the wine industry. I am also a transcriptionist and have experience in the legal, medical and air traffic control fields.
Moreover, I have 12 years of transcription experience and in 2016 began taking on subtitling projects.
Lastly, I have one year of experience as translation project manager working remotely for an agency based in Argentina.
