Hi,

Sylfaen is the best for InDesign, and it actually supports bold, italic, etc.

Instead of CTrl+B, or Ctrl+I, try to use InDesign's relevant features, it works out for sure.

Hello,

I want to know if there's very compatible font for Armenian on Indesign.

I use Tahoma and Sylfaen, but it only supporst Regular fonts.

Is there any font which support 'Italic, bold, Narrow, etc.' too?

Anybody with infos, please let me know.

P.S : I know tons of fonts supports Armenian on Word or Excel, but what I need is for Indesing.

Hello:
I am apologize if this may look a bit incoherent, as I don't understand the situation in question very well. This is for a friend of mine (he is a medical doctor and also someone interested in the Bible in the Western Armenian language).

The question he has was something like this: "Is there a package that contains the Western-Armenian Bible together with a Commentary plus a Western Armenian > English dictionary (all in one bundle) which can be downloaded to Lotus? or accessible with Lotus? not quite sure how this works.. but those are very close to what he said..

I wonder if anyone has the answer... It will be much appreciated.

I recently purchased an apple mac and am having one hek of a tough time figuring out how to type in Armenian using the preinstalled keyboard driver! I am an avid user of KDWIN and am in need of finding a similar (maybe same?) thing for mac. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Regards, David

You can use [url removed] for translating words from Armenian into English and vice versa. We romanise all Armenian words, so you should have no problem with reading. See [url= [url removed] շուն]the word for dog[/url], for example.

Thank you very much Dikran but unfortunatly i understand neither the one, nor the other.

Due to the strained relationship between turkey and armenia, finding a turkish-armenian dictionary would be a little bit difficult i guess. Because of this i hope to find an english-armenian or a german-armenian dictionary.

It isn't very important, because it isn't business related. But to find some friendly words in armenian for my armenian neighbours would be a nice surprise for them i thought. :-)

I don't know the others but as far as the Turkish/Armenian dictionaries are concerned, you can barely find some elemantary printed dictionaries, so one must wait a long time before we see anything online...
The printed ones are very very elementary. The best way is to use Turkish/Russian and Russian Armenian dictionaries together.
