Bio
Literary translator with proven storytelling skills, a thorough grasp of French and American culture, and editorial expertise to craft translations that engage readers of French.
After studying theater and English at La Sorbonne University in Paris, I took two years to teach poetry and acting for a non-profit.
In 2007 decided to pursue a career within the field of translation and started working for a Parisian based British production agency, interpreting for touring artists and translating contracts.
I met many people, musicians, and stand-up comedians, and enjoyed using my language skills to help them get around. I worked with that company for about four years, interpreting my way through festivals and backstage until I made my move to New York.
I have been living in New York for six years now, doing freelance work for various clients. From translating letters, blog articles, and resumes to children literature.
About two years ago, I have decided to employ my skills and experience to subtitling.
That said, I love the challenge of translating and am open to all opportunities.
