To what extend are they compatible. If I make a terminology list in Access, can I import it in Trados. It is possible in Déjà Vu because DjV creates standard access database forms, but what about trados...

Nevertheless there are several ways to import Access lists (in text or memo format) into Trados:
Export it in 2 files, one for source text and one for target text and align them using WinAlign. This is particularly useful if your memo fields contain line breaks (shift + enter).
Export it into one tab-separated file, for importing it into a TM or into MultiTerm. In these cases you need another program or process to format

If you can't find a helpful how-to, simply export something from a TM or Multiterm and open it in a text processor to see how it is formatted (tagged). It is not very complicated, but you need a little bit of programming skill..
