Are there any? Or would a Java-based tool work? (Ooh, I'm totally Linux-ignorant, but as I'll have a "spare" notebook soon, I may try installing it and see how it flies, especially with Chinese text issues. | | | omegaT, kbabel, etc. | Aug 13, 2003 |

Hi Terry, just try OmegaT, a java CAT tool, or kbabel. I used booth on big projects and I can confirm their usability. Thanks for the excellent information and links! | Aug 13, 2003 |
I have actually tried OmegaT under Windoze, but haven't had time to fuss with it with work and all. I'm sure there *are* many Chinese solutions out there - it's just that I tend to be very cautious about any software changes, even within Windoze, because if I mess up the Chinese components of my system I'm really up the creek! | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » CAT tools for Linux?
