Specialisation is key Jun 15, 2023

Hi Francisco,

No worries! We all know that feeling of uncertainty and helplessness at the begining, but our passion for translation always finds us a way out one way or another.

My advice would be trying to use that background knowledge in Economics and specialise from the beginning, this will help you find your place within the market faster. Try also keeping up to date in that particular field with courses, webinars and seminars.

Cheers!

From my experience, there is nothing that is so easy as expected. Jun 16, 2023

Personally, I think you will be put in a HR/ staff pool among other ones and then you can wait ... from this year to another year. I am not sure actually. It may depend on the language market and demand as well. However, I think it is still one of the best we can do.:))
