Seeking suggestions on local DPSI courses

Hi

Is anybody can help me?I am based in Birmingham and I would like to find a recognized DPSI course locally.If its not local I am happy to complete online course.
At the moment I am working with small agencies without qualification for NHS,however I am interested in law.
I would live to work for the police.
Is anybody works for the police without qualification?

I am replying from my phone, so can't really provide the link, however, if you google IoL (Institute of Linguists), you will find a list of all centres offering the course.
It is a good investment, as agencies will pay you higher rates if you own a DPSI.
I don't know in other parts of Britain, but in Glasgow you will not get to work for the Police, unless you have a DPSI and enhanced disclosure.

To work for the police there is a Met Police Test. Details can be found in IoL website www.iol.org.uk.

Not sure if you passed Met Police Test, you could work in Birmingham though, but it's worth to find out for more opportunity available in interpreting.
