Dear colleagues,
What is your opinion on this article http://www.vice.com/en_uk/read/the-bajuni-somalis-are-being-deported-to-countries-that-arent-their-homes concerning failed asylum seekers from an ethnic community in Somalia which is being sent to the wrong country (Kenya or Tanzania instead) because the test applied doesn't recognise them as Somali?
Has anyone heard of Sprakab, the Swedish company involved before?

"Having sought asylum in the UK, the Bajunis are facing possible deportation to Kenya and Tanzania – countries where they have no heritage or current familial links. This is because the Home Office is refusing to acknowledge the Bajunis' Somali identity, thanks to the results of Language Testing for the Determination of Origin (LADO) tests – a type of "forensic linguistics" designed to assess the validity of nationality claims."

Please note I am only asking about the language issues/process involved.
Thanks, Aisha
