EN 15038 = about 17 pages, EN 15308 = about 38 pages, depending on the language. | | |
Hello Sofia,
Like Siegfried, I'll assume that you're talking about the "Translation Services" norm. It is 17 pages long if you start with the table of contents (i.e., if you exclude the paginated title page) and end with the bibliography.
Sincerely,
Michael | |

You might mean EN 15038, the translators' standard. A draft version floats about the net, in PDF, so that's probably what you had found. It is all rubbish, if you ask me. Why do you need to study it? | | | EN 15308 Characterization of waste | Jun 5, 2012 |

Well, I know that before hand people needed to buy this. Now I need it for work, and I found it for free online without much hassle, so I thought that maybe this one isn’t the one I should be looking for.. at least not the full version.

I am not familiar with the library system in Portugal, but I assume that you should be able to find it in any major (national) technical library with a department for standards. Your national standards organization also might have a reading room where standards can be read for free.

Standards libraries are an excellent resource for terminology in any technical field - a must for a technical and scientific translator.
