There is a delay of several seconds, sometimes up to approximately 10 seconds, when typing into WF. My memory is set to 1024, my TMs save to my local drive, not the cloud. I'm not sure what to do!

what has changed...? Jul 21, 2016

....And you will say nothing.....

but there might have been an update of your windows or OS version,
or the anti-virus
or some other connection software, dictionary software...
or you just have a lot of temp files
or some annoying virus (not likely)

so turn off everything, remove temp files, and reboot...

if that does not help try a different machine

if that works fine - the problems is with the other machine

maybe too many TMs and glossaries Jul 26, 2016

This might happen if a huge number of TMs and glossaries is linked and effectively operative on your project(s). So that the application has to hold all of them in consideration when parsing, for each segment.

This also happens if we work with many files open, if they are quite big; as in all CAT-s. it's better to close all other panes besides the active file window.

Try to un-click some of them. Extremely big TMs can be a problem, like in all CAT-s; a TM up to 50.000 s

thanks for your input! Aug 5, 2016

I updated all the drivers on my machine, it seemed to help a bit, but I think there is just something not right with my computer. I'm going to bring it in for service soon. Thanks again.
