English to Romanian: Satisfaction Studies in Medical Specialties Detailed field: Psychology
Source text - English Patient satisfaction is an important and growing area of research in some medical specialty fields, For example, many studies have examined patient satisfaction with emergency room services, nursing care, internal medicine services, surgical procedures, and other medical interventions Several studies are interested in the providers’ characteristics related to satisfaction, such as type of physician (Roblin et at., 2004), language one speaks (Sischoflet al, 2003), and personal choice of physician (Kalda, Polluste, & Lember, 2003). Other studies focused on patients’ characteristics and satisfaction. Results show that gender and education are the two frequent predictors of satisfaction level (Kane, Maciejewski, & Finch, 1997; Revicki, 2004); with females and patients with higher education reporting lower satisfaction, Other studies examined the components of care provided to patients. These components include the relationship between care providers and patients; whether these are organized or unorganized; how fast the care providers respond to a patients request; how much information is provided for patients; sufficient teaching materials for patients; and enough time spent with patients, etc. (Kane, Maciejewski, & Finch, 1997; Kipp,2001, Revicki, 2004).
Translation - Romanian Studiile asupra satisfacţiei în specializările medicinii
(Kane, Maciejewski, & Finch, 1997; Kipp, 2001; Revicki, 2004).
