Roos Språkservice is a family owned business located in Köping, Sweden, established in 2005. Our fields of business include interpreting, translating and proofreading. We work from German, English, Hungarian, Rumanian to Swedish and from Swedish to English and Hungarian, just to mention some language combinations. Our customers include translation agencies, industrial enterprises and agencies dealing with machine tools.

We work full-time in the company and below you will find a short presentation of the people behind Roos Språkservice.

Georgine Roos
Mrs. Roos is the head of the company. She has a business education and is experienced in the fields of management and sole proprietorship.

Norbert Roos
Mr. Roos' field of expertise includes translating technical texts (in the fields of mechanical engineering, machining etc.), business, financial and general texts from German, English, Hungarian to Swedish. Mr. Roos holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, and has worked at Volvo Powertrain in Köping for 34 years. During his tenure at Volvo Powertrain, Mr. Roos translated several instruction manuals and documents from German and English to Swedish for internal use.

Henrietta Roos
Ms. Roos' field of expertise includes translating general/economic/financial texts from German to Swedish. Her services also include proofreading Swedish texts. She is also the head of the company's finances and administration. Ms. Roos holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Economics from Stockholm University. Her studies have included several courses in Business English, Swedish and German.

Mr. Roos’ native language is German/Swedish and Ms. Roos’ native language is Swedish and that is a perfect combination for successful translations.
Ms. Roos is responsible for the proofreading of all Swedish texts and therefore we can guarantee high quality translations.
