My name is Bogdan Pavel, I am 23 years old and I was born in Romania. I have lived for half of my life in Italy, where I have graduated in “Cultural and Linguistic Mediation” as a Bachelor at the University of Milan. During my bachelor studies I have also been an Erasmus student in Humanities in Paris at the University Sorbonne IV. Currently I am enrolled at the KU Leuven as a Master student in European Studies. My programme is entitled “Transnational and Global Perspectives” and is multidisciplinary, comprehending politics and law, as well as history and culture with Europe as a main focus, but putting it in a continuous dialogue with other actors of the global level.
Over the years I have been part of my high school newspaper and while I was an undergraduate student a booklet gathering some of my poems has been published by a minor Italian editor. As a Master student I have already written some academic papers, including essays, commentaries, review, factsheets and memos. I am interested especially in literature and cultural topics in general and I like learning languages. I have studied English and French beside my two mother tongues and I learned Spanish and some notions of Portuguese as an autodidact. Currently I am studying German at a language school in Leuven and I hope I will have the possibility to learn Turkish in the future. |
