Having lived 13 years in the US, 13 years in Norway, 6 years in the Netherlands and 20 years in Germany and visited altogether 50 countries on 5 continents, I have seen and experienced a few things...

Most of my translation work since 1994 has been of a technical nature for companies such as Liebherr, Orenstein & Koppel, Aumann, Herrenknecht, etc.

I have also translated plenty of legal contracts, medial reports, press releases and manuals for products, computers, etc. for companies such as Rhodia AG, Novartis, KPMG and many more.

I taught behavioral psychology and business at the University of Freiburg for nearly a decade and have read around 2000 books in my life, mostly non-fiction and am curious about almost everything.

My passion in life is to read, understand and then disseminate information to students and the general public in lectures and through texts.
