查網頁發現，最流行的是翻譯成”應用科學“， 這不是瞎掰嗎？

我見過有人把“frequent flyer”譯成“常旅客”的，而且他的譯文就堂而皇之地發佈在航空公司的網站上。
“常旅客”為何物，懂英文又經常坐飛機出國的人可能會猜到，但不懂英文的人就只能抓瞎了。這個譯法不符合漢語文法，致命的是意思也不到位。我建議譯成“常飛客”。
還有一個詞“in-depth tour"，如今西化橫行，將之譯成”深度遊“似乎也不可厚非，但老派一點的人可能就譯成”盡興遊“。既然是"in-depth”，肯定得盡興嘛。: )

你說的很有道理，不過我不知道下次碰到這個詞時我有沒有勇氣用＂公司＂，感覺上大家已經習慣用＂計劃＂，似乎連保健公司的內部審稿人都沒有質疑過這種譯法。

其中有一个公司的華人客戶经理就因为这个译文，把一个翻译公司辞掉了。当然译文的問題不止这一处。那個公司的译文我看过，基本上每句话都有隔着一層窗户紙的感觉，比如把PROVIDER翻译為提供商(这个单词明明就是指医生或者醫院或者診所或者其他醫療服务机构)

如果客户没有提供现成的公司名称，我通常原文放着，免得被人挑刺。

当一个公司名称的結尾為PLAN，PROJECT等单词时， 在行文中常用 This plan, this project等來指“本公司”，和用THIS COMPANY没什么區別。問題是人們非要把它们翻译成“本计划”和“本項目”不可。
你可能認為这样翻译并没错，可是客戶读起來的感觉可能会非常别扭。
我認為这等同于译文MISMATCH 原文，后果有时是可以是很嚴重的

都翻译成了法學/醫學博士，连搞眼睛验光的OD也翻译成博士，你9知道这些都是明顯错误，卻又不能用正確的方式翻译。
JD/MD相當于中國的法律/醫學双学士学位

都翻译成副總裁，其实有的公司可以有上百个这样的職位，他們没什么權力，只是荣誉称号。而副總裁在中國可就大了去了完全不對等。盡是瞎翻译。

Science = 學
應用就是執行、實踐。所以我覺得翻譯成“應用學”也無不可，在意義層面上，是沒有錯的，它的意思就是研究現有知識從抽象的理論層面落實在實際層面的一門學問，其實就是一門應用學、執行學。但為了跟現有的應用XX學（applied X）做區別，選擇另一個詞，翻譯成執行學或許是更恰當的譯法。法文翻譯裡，我看到很多人翻譯成 science de l'application (de connaissance), science de mise en oeuvre，有別於 science appliquée...就是指一門研究應用知識或實踐理論的學問。
但作為譯者，我們並沒有權力去決定這樣的專業用語的正確翻譯法，我們只能提議、建議，然後由專業社群去決定哪個譯法是最恰當的。如果專業社群沒有通用譯法，一般譯者也沒有立場堅持哪一個譯法才是最適當的。

医药成果转化学？ 其实这个也不全面， 因为它还包括对研究过程的研究， 有点像对过程、方法学的研究。
