Just a comment: it's not the same in English "problems with women" than "women's/girls' problems". What I understand by "problema de polleras" in Spanish is "problems with women": some guy has problems with a girl; it's not a girl's thing, that would mean a girl having a problem typical of girls...

Dado lo que señala Cecilia, que parece tratarse de \"un registro coloquial estándar\" (de la Argentina) empleado por hombres, una opción muy válida sigue siendo “girl problems,” ya que no son pocas las mujeres (acá en los Estados Unidos) que, con sus treita años encima, siguen refiriéndose a “girls” cuando hablan de mujeres de su misma edad, al igual que los hombres, con sus treita años encima también, que emplean la misma palabra (girls) para referirse a mujeres de unos treita años. Esto se veía mucho en el program famoso de la televisión cable “Sex in the City” en las multiples conversaciones entre las actrices de reparto (including Sarah Jessica Parker), y en las conversaciones/artículos acerca de las mismas.
