multidisciplinary

this is by deduction because a lot depends on what they mean by "complejas" - there could be clues in the rest of the text, which I do not have, of course. You do.....

It could refer to a "speciality"

the "trans" in English often comes out as "multi"

I meant that the \"trans\" often comes out as \"Multi\" in English - sorry I manage to reverse that neatly !!!

transcomplex

A lot of Google hits from several areas, but the sociological ones seem to be from Venezuela. David's suggestion sounds convincing...

Spanish term (edited): organizaciones transcomplejas

multilevel organizations

"Multitiered" would seem to be an option also, although I found only a few references to that term. I think what is being referred to here is the level of complexity of the organization per se, and not to the diverse professional training of its employees (as would be implied by "multidiciplinary".

Suerte.

cross-complex

Another possibility, though I'm not too keen about it.

My thinking is that, since the term is vague and there is a HUGE difference between multi-/trans-/cross-disciplinary, on the one hand, and multi-/trans-/cross-level, on the other, absent an explanation from the author, I think it would be safer to keep the solution ambiguous in English.
