To understand the concept of Learning Styles, we have to begin with examining the “adult learning cycle”.

Effective learning involves a complete sequence or cycle.

All stages are inter-related, and each stage is important.

Completion of each stage builds on learning in the next stage of the cycle.

The learning cycle involves:
Acting: doing something, having an experience
Reflecting: thinking about what has happened
Concluding: drawing some conclusions
Planning: deciding what to do next
