I suggest translating "magistradas" as "judges", since "magistrado-magistrate" are clearly false friends. "Magistrados" are the highest level of judge on Spanish appellate courts, while "magistrates" are the lowest level of judge in both the US and UK

agree Madeline Rios : "duly" is incorrect in this context. "correctly" is a better term, because the judges are CORRECT in their opinion, as opposed to "duly" following an obligation.
