Se pare că este acelaşi lucru cu "desk study", care se referă la un studiu făcut doar pe baza documentelor (în birou ...), fără a include şi cercetări mai amănunţite pe teren.
Am văzut şi câteva intrări cu "studiu de birou", dar parcă nu prea dă din coadă.

This model considers allpotential contaminant sources, pathways and receptors, defined as apollutant linkage. The study should document the site history and identify all potentially contaminative land uses back to when the site was‘greenfield’. The conclusions of the report should contain recommendations for any progression to Phase II, if required.
