Comparado con Ud., Maestro, no sé nada de inglés. Pero habrá usted escuchado que en México, más bien en el centro, se dice "ponerse al tiro", o sea, "to be straigh", algo así. No sabemos de dónde es el texto, though. Un respetuosísimo saludo.

En realidad en español lo que he visto es "ajustar las miras". Esta forma de decirlo no la he visto antes. ¿A poco no sabes nada de inglés, Juan?

No sé nada de inglés, y confío plenamente en Henry. Sin embargo, "poner a tiro" me huele a juego de palabras... "a tiro" significa "a punto", que tiene que ver con los "tiros" que dispara el arma. A ver.
