checkout conveyor belt

I'm pretty sure that "checkout conveyor belt" is what you're looking for, although I'm not sure what "barre, réglette & fronton" device is supposed to be. Is it some sort of divider between each customer's shopping?

Yes, a "next customer sign" is the thing I was thinking of.
Note from asker:
It is a new advertising system at the checkout, and seems to be a replacement for the "next customer" signs. Your answer helped it all fall into place!
