This is a type of firework. I am translating a Danish regulation for the EC. It appears along with the following other types of firework in a category. The category is "Miniraketter, hoppende jordsole, spinnere og jordfræsere". I have managed to work out what the others are.

THis is certainly the term used in the UK for this article. I used to own one myself and a great tool it was!
