Spanish term
fresas y fresones

Hello, I'm a Spanish translation student and I have a doubt in one of my translations... It's about the most common ingredients in Spring and in the section of fruits it says "fresas... y fresones".
I've searched and in English it's used "strawberry" for both fruits without distinction, so can I ommit the second one for not saying twice "strawberry" or maybe it is a term for say "fresón" that I don't know?

(ordinary) strawberries and large strawberries
You really need to offer the whole sentence, because you might just be able to put "strawberries" on its own as you suggest.
If you have to distinguish between them, fresones are larger, according to the RAE definition.

: I think "ordinary" or "regular" is a better way to describe "fresas" since you can have both big and small "fresas", and "fresones" are a different fruit, larger and less sweet.
