I'm thinking the natural English would be simply "to bring a vehicle in" for repair, but the context is describing the dealer's (or repair shop's) action of receiving/accepting the car. Is there a standard term for that?

これ難しい..
Unless it literally means (go inside the garage), "drop-off" as in "drop-off" form","drop-off time" might be a possibility.
We were at a body shop yesterday for some body work, and did 入庫 and our car will stay for a couple of nights! For a quick service like oil change, or other major services, shops/service departments immediately issue an Repair order as soon as 入庫, and so as a customer I never thought of that word...

Although this might be not necessarily describing the repair shop's action, how about using "check-in"?

I think we all know repair shop is not a warehouse or storage place, repair is done "(ideally) right on the premises", but that's not always the case. Sometimes cars can not always get fixed right away, and it may takes a few days before they get fixed.

I think we all know repair shop is not a warehouse or storage place, repair is done "(ideally) right on the premises", but that's not always the case. Sometimes cars can not always get fixed right away, and it may takes a few days before they get fixed.
