neumáticos de camiones y vehiculos grandes
Gracias desde ya por las ayudas que vengan. Es una tabla con características de un vehiculo pesado, y como título de una columna dice width over tires, lo que traducido literalmente sería ancho sobre los neumáticos, pero no suena bien. Quizás over aquí tiene un significado distinto. La columna de la tabla muestra los valores de los anchos de los neumáticos de diferentes proveedores.

Rafael, por lo que yo se, el término "width over tires" se refiere a la anchura total del vehículo medida entre caras exteriores de las ruedas (neumáticos, como se ve aquí http://www.jcbna.com/files/products/445.pdf o aquí http://www.ritchiespecs.com/specification?type=construction ... y no a la anchura de los neumáticos en si mismos (que normalmente se denomina en inglés "tire width", en esta referencia aparecen los dos términos http://www.ascoeq.com/new_vehicle_compare.asp?veh1=166815&ve...
"Width over tires" se traduce normalmente por "anchura sobre los neumáticos" (estoy de acuerdo contigo en que no suena muy bien, pero hay varios fabricantes que lo usan) como puedes ver aquí:

El gráfico de esta referencia parece indicar que "width over tires" es la anchura total del vehículo incluyendo los neumáticos, aunque la traducción "neumáticos excesivos..." no me suena bien.
