Într-adevăr, aproape toate referinţele trimit la ideea că este vorba despre uniforma de serviciu a angajaţilor care lucrează pentru firme de transport, agenţii de pază şi securitate, partea neînarmată a poliţiei etc. Însă se pare ca este în primul rând uniforma celor care prestează servicii de transport: şoferi, piloţi, navigatori, mecanici, agenţi de pază, personal de control şi îndrumare.
În opoziţie cu uniformele guvernamentale, cred că nu sunt reglementate de către autorităţile statale.

There is no term such as 'transport uniforms', at least officially. In case an officer is assigned to transport certain documents, then you could call him an officer wearing a transit uniform.
As far as government uniforms, in military there are certain times when officers have to wear them ( also called as Class As, Class Bs uniforms).
I know it's confusing, but if I don't know the context it is hard to come up with the right translation.
So, not knowing what kind of transportation where're talking about (documents, weapons, people), I would say "Uniforme Oficiale Militare"
As far as government uniforms, in military there are certain times when officers have to wear them ( also called as Class As, Class Bs uniforms).
I know it's confusing, but if I don't know the context it is hard to come up with the right translation.
So, not knowing what kind of transportation where're talking about (documents, weapons, people), I would say "Uniforme Oficiale Militare"
