Spanish term

Previas

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law (general)
Legal document from Spain:

Juzgado de Instrucción No. 5

Procedimiento: Previas XXX/YYYY (numbers)

DILIGENCIA DE ORDENACIÓN

I have found "Prior Investigations" in the glossary (for Mexico). Would this work for Spain too? TIA!

Discussion

Sherry Godfrey (asker) Oct 29, 2010:
Thanks Andy. That is actually it. Later in the document was the abbreviation "D.P" with the same number following it. If you'd like to post it as an answer, we can put it in the glossary. Thanks!
Andy Watkinson Oct 28, 2010:
Just a guess but... ...could refer to "Diligencias previas"
