I looked at your source at http://www.secora.no/filestore/INTERNETT/Utstyr_Datablad_og_... The dimension refers to the maximum length of a pile (piling) that can be set with this vessel. "pel" = "pæl" = "påle" > "pile" per Ordnett.no.
