TV context I am certainly not pretending that any word is set in stone - which would leave us jobless - but media vocabulary is part of my working areas and I had even checked with someone who teaches digital TV before posting my last comment. Should I apologise for having tried to help?

"dispositivo" takes up 13 columns in Beigbeder and includes "unit" "array" "head" "gage" ... along with simply skipping it and calling the "device" after the doughnut rather than after the hole and being "reader" "processor" "killer" "suppressor" "coupler", etc. It's not set in stone.

OK, I'm going with content generator... but also have had a bit of a breakthrough with the "dispositivo" problem - it's "unit". Perfect - broadcasting unit, application unit ..... etc. etc. etc.
