English term

promote customer self-service

Non-PRO English to French Marketing IT (Information Technology) information technology
This is part of a list of potential problems/challenges an IT manager might be trying to solve through the use of certain IT initiatives/software.

"customer" refers to the person who is purchasing the company's products and/or services. This not necessarily an end user of the middleware, but the middleware might enable the customer to track their order or check the inventory of their supplier to see if they have what might be needed.

What business problems were you trying to solve when you implemented the project?

--capture customer data
--reduce time to market
--promote customer self-service
--get closer to the customer
--reduce sales or marketing costs
--manage risks
-comply with regulations
--distribution through multiple channels

C\'est marrant, parce que j\'étais juste en train de réviser \"L\'allemand économique et commercial\" (Langues pour tous) et je lisais le dialogue du chapître \"Schoenhaus se lance dans la vente en libre-service!\").

Another suggestion, if you do not want to use self service. It sounds a bit like a cafeteria!
